That Native Americans lived in America for 12000 years consisting of many tribal nations and territories, prior to the arrival of the Mayflower in 1620. The Wampanoag nation lived in about 70 settlements along the coast and were called the 'People of the First Light'. They called their home 'Turtle Island'.

This week we saw the Wampanoag People arrive in Plymouth, England. They presented their story in the Theatre Royal, through singing, dance and spoken word for the first time, in Plymouth. The performances were running from 23rd to 27th April.
